How to do Flex targeting?

Before increasing your conversion, let deep dive into the buyer’s research. Buyers research is very crucial because it will give you an insight into your targeted audience.

For effective buyer’s research, go to the “Audience Insight” feature in the Facebook Ads Manager

  1. Enter Region
  2. Enter Interests 
    1. Now check the Demographics of your targeted audience
    2. Check Page likes (The pages of similar interests)
    3. Facebook geo-targeting of your ads
    4. Their recent activities
    5. Create buyer persona
    6. You can save this audience (Optional)

Flex targeting is done at the Adset level 

  1. Create a new campaign (You can also add a new Adset in an existing campaign)
  2. Choose campaign objective 
  3. Enter budget and time frame
  4. Go to Facebook detailed targeting
  5. Enter a broad interest
  6. You will see two tabs at the bottom
    1. Exclude 
    2. Narrow audience
  7. Exclude feature is used to exclude specific interests and behaviours.

Single Interest Audience Targeting single interest targeting lets you find out which interest best suits your prospective customers.

Although single interest targeting cost you higher than other targeting types it provides you with a clear picture of data about your prospect audience. 

Create as many Adset as you can, each with single interest. You will get a lot of data about each interest and behaviour. Analyze this data and find out which ad interest is performing well and which one is exhausting credit card.
